Norris Gautreaux died on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice with loving family by his side. He was 75.
A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, March 03, 2014 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
Survivors include his five children, Cynthia Faye Hoffpauir and husband, Steven of Eunice, Leonard Gautreaux and wife, Rita of Mamou, Norris Gautreaux, Jr. and wife, Stacy, Johnny Allen Gautreaux and wife, Marcy and Iris Lynn Cody and husband, Scott, all of Houston, Texas; his sister, Louise Brown of Opelousas; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Willine “Toni” Gautreaux; parents, Joseph and Leola Miller Gautreaux; three brothers, Edward, Joseph, and Leon Gautreaux; five sisters, Edith Soileau, Irene Darbonne, Euna Courville, Lily Peloquin and Lillian Thibodeaux.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, March 2nd from 1:00 pm until time of services on Monday, March 3rd at 11:00 am. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Sunday evening.
