Funeral services for Margurite Ella Mae Harmon Pitre, 80, will be held at 11:00 A.M. with a visitation beginning at 8:00 A. M. on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at St. Mathilda Catholic Church in Eunice, LA. Burial will be in the St. Mathilda Catholic Church Cemetery. Father Darren Eldridge will conduct the funeral mass.
She died on Saturday, March 8, 2013, at 1:00 P. M.
Survivors include husband, Dudley J. Pitre of Eunice, LA; two daughters, Philomena (Joseph) Bernard of Eunice, LA and Dr. Maria Goretti (Kenneth) Martin of Thomasville, N.C.; two grandchildren, Dudley J. (Chauntelle) Bernard and Nicodemus P. Bernard; one great-grandchild, Christian J. Bernard; one half-brother, Freddie Harmon of Beaumont, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Effie Harmon and Octave and Lydia Harmon; one half-sister, Wilma Callaway and one half- brother, Wilbert Harmon .
