LSU's first wrestling coach
BATON ROUGE – Services for former All-American college wrestler and LSU wrestling coach Dale Ketelsen will be Saturday. He died March 22 at age 78.
He was a two-time All-American wrestler at Iowa State and a finalist in the 1960 Olympic trials. In 1968 he was hired to start a wrestling program at LSU and was subsequently instrumental in promoting wrestling in Louisiana high schools. He was a member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.
Survivors include his wife Pat, two sons and a daughter.
Petroleum exec
SHREVEPORT – Services for petroleum executive Henry Goodrich will be Saturday. He died March 26 at age 83.
A geologist by training, he was president and CEO of McCord Oil, which became McCord-Goodrich, listed on the New York Stock Exchange. He was a former president of the Louisiana Association of Independent Produces and Royalty Owners and on the boards of Commecial National Bank and Pan American Life Insurance. He was a member of the LSU College of Science, Hall of Distinction.
Survivors include his wife Laurice, two sons and a daughter.

Car dealer
MONROE – Services for long-time car dealer James Taylor, Jr. will be Friday. He died March 25 at age 70.
He owned a Chevrolet dealership in Rayville and a Ford dealership in Ruston and had been in the car business since 1968.
Survivors include his wife Linda and a daughter.
