Sybil Johnson Fontenot died on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the age of 81.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Father Clinton Sensat will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth "Hav" Olivier and wife Terry of Eunice; three daughters, Cynthia Guidry and husband Mark of Eunice, Connie Dupre and husband Randy of Youngsville, and Margretta Frey and husband Gary of Eunice; one brother, Huey Johnson, Jr. of Eunice; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Huey Johnson, Sr. and Mable Lavergne Johnson; her first husband, Edmund Olivier; her second husband, Richard Fontenot; and two sons, Garett Olivier and Al Kurt Olivier.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Quirk
& Son Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. by Deacon Gary Gaudin.
The funeral home will reopen on Friday at 8 a.m. for visitation until the time of service.
