Eveline Picard Thibodeaux died on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Oaklane Wellness & Rehabilitation Center in Eunice at the age of 97. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, November 17, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Msgr. Romero Celebrant.
Survivors include two sons, Nelson Thibodeaux and wife, Leona of Richmond, Texas and Horace Thibodeaux of Houston, Texas; four daughters, Audrey Duplechain of Eunice, Grace Deshotels of Crowley, Margaret Beck and husband, Richard of Athens, Ala. and Dolores Charlie and husband, Fred of Eunice; 19 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Thibodeaux; her parents, Frank and Lydia Guidry Picard; and son-in-law, Gene Duplechain.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s until time of services.
