CHURCH POINT-Funeral Services was held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 1:30 pm in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point for Ernest Daigle, Sr., 60 who passed away at his home in Richard on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 2:57 pm. Pastor Dennis Gotreaux, Pastor of the Freedom Baptist Church in Eunice officiated for the services. Burial followed in the St. Edward Catholic Church Cemetery in Richard.
The family requested that visitation be held on Friday, November 06, 2015 at 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm. The visitation resumed on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 8:00 am until time of services all in the Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point.
Survivors include his wife of forty one years, Debra G. Daigle of Richard; one son, Ernest “ Ernie” and wife, Laura Daigle, Jr. of Morse; two daughters, Monica and husband, Jarrad Francois of Richard and Kimberly and husband, Scotty Fabacher of Iowa; one brother, Placide and wife, Peggy Daigle of Sulphur; four grandchildren, Katie Daigle, Jake Fabacher, Ashlann Francois and Caroline Fabacher.
Mr. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, Lezem and Louise Daigle, Sr.; one brother, Lezem Daigle, Jr.; two sisters, Mable Daigle and Mary Jane Dies; one niece Wanda Dies and one nephew Joshua Daigle.
