Mr. Blanchard, a native and long-time resident of rural Acadia Parish near Richard, died Thursday evening, October 27 at his residence. Father Austin Leger will conduct the services with interment following in the St. Edward Cemetery adjacent to the church.

Mildred was a homemaker and a devout Christian, who loved helping others. She loved baking and Princess her cat. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his wife of 64 years, Annie Lou Reed Veillon of Eunice; his son, Kurt Veillon of Youngsville; three daughters, Patricia Soileau and husband, Keith of Mamou, Susan Veillon of Baton Rouge and Lois Veillon Thevis of Crowley; the joys of his life his three grandchildren, Kate Thevis, Amy Thevis and Cooper Veillon; and two great grandchildren, Logan Thevis and Colt Romero; as well as extended family and friends.

J. W. was a rice, soybean and cattle farmer. He was a member of the Acadia Parish Cattleman's Association. He also enjoyed raising chickens, rabbits and horses. J.W. could be found everyday eating lunch at Farmer's Gas in Mamou and always found time to pay his respects for those he knew during their time of loss and often would bring boudin for the families to enjoy. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his loving wife of 43 years, Carol "Noonie" Zaunbrecher of Eunice; his six children and their spouses, D'Lisa Frey of Eunice, Patrick Zaunbrecher and wife, Kathyrn, Mark Zaunbrecher and wife, Melissa, Kevin Zaunbrecher and wife, Jennifer all of Basile and Aimee Rasberry and husband, Corey of Iota; his eight siblings, Loretta Kurta and husband, John of Mowata, Steve Zaunbrecher of Elton, Linda Frey of Roanoke, Michael Zaunbrecher and wife, Blandina of Simmesport, Dale Zaunbrecher and wife, Gwen and Reggie Zaunbrecher and wife, Joan all of Eunice, John Lawrence Zaunbrecher and wife, Leslie of Mowata and Lambertina LaHaye and husband, Mark of Baton Rouge; nineteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Marie, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Nat Joseph Ardoin and the former Marie Celestine Dossman.

Betty Hollier
Betty Lou Deshotel-Hollier, born May 8, 1939, was the eldest daughter of Lester Deshotel, Sr. and Yolanda Gotro-Deshotel. She was a graduate of Vidrine High School in 1957.
Betty married Larry Hollier on May 17, 1958. They were the proud parents of three loving daughters and hand in hand they traveled and saw the sights of the world. Betty was a member of the Evangeline Parish Homemakers Club, St. Anne's Chapter of the Catholic Daughters of America and volunteered as a Pink Lady at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou, Louisiana for approximately 35 years.
Betty was known for her kindness, generosity, sewing and baking skills. She was a loving and supportive mother to her daughters and grandchildren as well as to her to confidant and husband Larry for 58 1/2 years.
Betty will be immensely missed by her husband Larry, daughter Roxanne Hollier-Roessler and husband Herman of Westlake, LA; daughter Lauren B. Hollier-Perkins and husband Edward of Lafayette, LA and daughter Daphne M. Hollier-Bihm and husband Wayne of Humble, TX. She had two grandchildren Ashlyn Fontenot-Castete and husband Scott of Moss Bluff, LA and Seth Fontenot and his companion Brittany Childs of Sulphur, La., step-grandsons Herman Frederick Roessler Jr. and Carlton L. Roessler, of Westlake, La. She also was blessed with two great grandchildren, Aaron Castete and Kaitlyn Fontenot.
Betty leaves behind her siblings Verdie Deshotel-Lamke of Ville Platte, LA; Lester Deshotel, Jr. Of Eunice, LA; JoAnn Deshotel-Ardoin and husband Joel of Eunice, LA and James W. Deshotel of Ville Platte, LA. Also, Rinal Hollier, brother-in-law and wife Leola Young of Mamou; Bobby Hollier, brother-in-law and wife Sarah Barnett of West Monroe; Loretta Hollier, sister-in-law of Ville Platte and Ramona Hollier-Yarborough, sister-in-law and husband Bob of Carencro form Lyn Schaeffer Hollier, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Charles Meyer, 62, will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016, at 10:00 AM
with burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Deacon David Guillory will officiate.
Charles passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Monier Meyer of Eunice; step-son, Kirk Bellard and his wife Jessica of Breaux Bridge;
daughter, Tonya Meyer of Florida; three brothers, Wayne Meyer of Vidrine, LA, Ronnie Meyer of Baton Rouge, LA
and Keith Meyer of Ville Platte, LA;
two sisters, Carla Meyer of Estherwood, LA and Shelly Fontenot of Ville Platte, LA;
a grandson, Anthony Wayne Bellard of Eunice, LA.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Barbara Doucet Meyer.
Visitation will begin on Sunday, November 13, at 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
Belvin Joseph Guillory
Belvin Joseph Guillory passed away on Tuesday November 15, 2016 at the age of 73.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday November 17, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Monsignor Robert Romero will officiate.
Entombment will follow at St. Paul Mausoleum in Eunice.
Belvin is survived by his wife, Brances Guillory of Eunice; Mother-in-law, Lydia Price Godeaux of Eunice;
Father-in-law, CJ Godeaux of Eunice; one son, Kevin Guillory of Eunice; five daughters, Christy Guillory and
Fiancé, Michael Fruge of Eunice, Kaylen Guillory of Eunice, Amanda Marcantel and husband, Timothy of Kinder,
Pamela Murphy and husband Benny of Lafayette and Dawm Prejean and husband Fils of Youngsville; three sisters,
Genny Fontenot and husband Donald of Oberlin, Lynette Boudreaux and husband Al of Opelousas, and
Winnie Wheeler of Ball, La; and nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Belvin was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Elia Fournerat Guillory; two brothers, Wilbert Guillory and Gilbert Guillory.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Wednesday November 16, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. by Deacon Gary Gaudin. The funeral home will reopen
at 8:00 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2016 for visitation until time of service.

Joseph Bellow
EUNICE ~ Visitation time for Joseph Bellow will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am at Bishop Ceaser Center with a Rosary being prayed at 9:30 am. Funeral services will follow in the St. Mathilda Catholic Church at 11:00 am with Father Darren Eldridge officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mathilda Cemetery in Eunice.
Joseph Bellow, 76 passed away November 11, 2016 at 5:30 am at his residence.
He enjoyed his carpentry work, fishing, hunting, cooking, tending to his farm animals, helping others, but most of all spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his spouse, Regina Bellow of Eunice; sons: Jonathan Bellow and Mike Bellow, both of Eunice, and David Bellow of Ville Platte; two daughters: LaTrice Fruge and Vernita Garrick, both of Eunice; one brother, Anthony Bellow of New Orleans; two sisters: Sarah Bellow of Eunice, and Theresa Bellow of Houston, TX; 30 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond and Theresa Bellow; two sister, Mildred Lavergne and Maudry Citizen; and one brother, Elton P. Bellow.
Pallbearers will be: Lumis Semien, Leroy Scott, Jr., Leonard Citizen, Daniel Citizen, Anthony Broussard, Wilbert Ceasar, Patrick Bellow and Louis Semien, Jr.
