Francis Myers, Jr. died on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the age of 59.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
Survivors include one sister, Tina Miller and husband Ashton of Swords, and two brothers, Clifford Myers and wife Launa of Swords and David Myers and wife Amy of Eunice.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Myers, Sr. and Esther Moreau Myers; one brother, Ricky Myers; and one nephew, Ricky Miller.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. The funeral home will reopen Saturday at 8 a.m. for visitation until the time of service.

Beverly Thibodeaux died on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at the age of 80.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Mausoleum.
Survivors include three sons, Joseph Whitney Lejeune and wife Deborah of Ville Platte, Larry James Lejeune and wife Sandra of Eunice, and Randy Joseph Lejeune of Eunice; two daughters, Elaine Thibodeaux and husband Jimmy of Eunice and Earline Guidry of Eunice; four sisters, Nelma Duplechin of Lake Charles, Marie Trahan of Eunice, Betty Cormier of Opelousas, and Juanita Latiolais of Church Point; 18 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis Thibodeaux and Carry Darbonne Thibodeaux; her husband, Joseph Stephen Lejeune; one son, Harold "Bo" Lejeune; one sister, Judy Ann Daigle; and three brothers John Carol, Euel, and Rodney Thibodeaux.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 19, 2014 from noon until 10:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. Friday for visitation until the time of service.

Edward James Lejeune died on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at the age of 75.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata. Father Joe Tran will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Melissa Domingue and Keith of Crowley; three brothers, Charles Lejeune and wife Bobbie of Mowata, Johnny Lejeune and wife Barbara of Eunice, and Donald Lejeune and wife Peggy of Ville Platte; one sister, Lorita Johnson of Eunice; eight grandchildren, Hunter Domingue of Crowley, Brice Suire of Crowley, Ices Lejeune of Crowley, Seth Lejeune of Crowley, Kennon Lejeune of Franklin, Layton Lejeune of Franklin, Leslie Domingue of Crowley, and Jarran Fredrick of Franklin; and two great-grandchildren, Kayson Domingue of Crowley and Kayden Domingue of Crowley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Lejeune and Mable Thibodeaux Lejeune; two sons, Danny Lejeune and Ryan Lejeune; and one brother, Houston Lejeune.
Visitation at Quirk & Son will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. The funeral home will reopen on Tuesday at 8 a.m. for visitation until the time of service.

Geraldine Caswell Andrepont died on Friday, June 20, 2014 at Acadian Medical Center. She was 69. A Celebration of Life was held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice with Deacon David Guillory officiating.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Nelton “Blue” Andrepont of Eunice; two sons, Tommy Berzas and Henry Fontenot, Jr., both of Kinder; three daughters, Marsha Anne Taylor of Kinder, Verla Fontenot of Mamou, and Jerilyn Fontenot of Eunice; step-son, Marcus Andrepont and wife, Francine of Lafayette; step-daughter, Tina Andrepont of Eunice; two brothers, Shelton Caswell of Scott, and Larry Caswell and wife, Wilma of Longpine; 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Lucille Marcantel Caswell; brothers, Elton, Lawrence, and Lee Paul Caswell; and sisters, Tina LeJeune, Anna Mae Fontenot, and Betty C. LaFleur.

Rowena Brou McClelland died on Monday, June 23, 2014 at the age of 89 in Gonzales.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Msg. Bob Romero will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Scott McClelland and wife Betty of Gonzales, Robert McClelland and wife Patti of Denham Springs, and Neal McClelland and wife Leah of New Iberia; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Murrell and husband Harold of Crosby, Texas.; one sister, Marcelle Woosley of Gonzales; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Marcel Brou and Aline Robert Brou; her husband, Robert A. McClelland; and one sister, Audrey Waggenspack.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon Gary Gaudin at 6 PM.
Visitation will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Manuel Bertrand.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home..
The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. Wednesday for visitation until time of service.

Florence McGee Fontenot

Florence McGee Fontenot, 85, died on June 25, 2014 at 2:00 A.M. Chapel services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Burial will follow in the New St. Ann’s Cemetery in Mamou with Rev. Tim Moffett officiating.
Survivors include six children, Elvin C. Fontenot, Jr. and his wife, Brenda of Leesville, Dene’Villarreal and her husband, Drew, Carolyn Gravette and her husband, Tim of Lafayette, Kathy Guillot and her husband, Conroy of Houma, Beverly Stevens and her husband, Reddick of Lafayette and Greg Fontenot and his wife, Renessa of Baton Rouge; Sisters, Jane and Grace; Brothers, Gerry, Billy, Donnie and Tommy; 14 grandchildren and 11 great –grandchildren.
Florence followed her husband on their new venture to Leesville in 1967. Her family was her everything, traveling to Eunice once a week to have lunch with her parents and have afternoon coffee with them and anyone else who happened to stop by. She was so very proud of her heritage and the fact that her daddy was a Cajun fiddle player. Flo also loved to play her accordion. Flo and Dee won many dance contests together, dancing to the music they loved.
Pallbearers are Zachary Gravette, Michael Freeman, Elvin C. Fontenot, III, Coan Stevens, Matt Conn and Casey George; Honorary Pallbearer is Andrew Villarreal.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin C. (Dee) Fontenot, Sr., and her parents, Dennis and Gladys McGee of Eunice, La.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 4:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. The Funeral Home will reopen on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 8:00 AM until time of services.

Dudley “Butch” Bertrand, Jr., 57, died on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at his Mamou residence. Chapel services will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Burial will follow in the Bieber/First Baptist Cemetery with Father Thainese officiating.
Survivors include his Companion, Felicia Granger of Mamou; his wife, Patricia Fontenot Bertrand of Eunice; his father, Dudley Bertrand of Mamou; two sons, Michael Bertrand and wife, Victoria of Ville Platte and Ryan Bertrand of Mamou; one daughter, Amy Manuel of Ville Platte; one brother, Ray Bertrand of Oakdale; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in by his mother, Janetta Fontenot Bertrand, one daughter, Phoebe Bertrand, one son, Roderick Fontenot and one grandson.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home on Friday, June 26, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen Saturday at 8:00 am until time of services.

Agnes Darbonne Thibodeaux died on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at her home. She was 89. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, June 30, 2014, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal followed in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Sensat, Celebrant.
Survivors include her five children, Georgia Rodgers of Lafayette, Becky LaFleur of Eunice, Don Thibodeaux of Greenwell Springs, John Thibodeaux and wife, Barbara of Eunice, Robert Thibodeaux of Zachary; three brothers, Elton Darbonne of Lawtell, Melvin Darbonne of Eunice, Delton Darbonne of Basile and a sister, Joyce Guidry of Eunice; 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Thibodeaux; a son, Thomas Thibodeaux; parents, Louis and Bernadette Bellow Darbonne and three brothers.
Arrangements were by Ardoin's.

Loretta Bollich Cooper Gaspard died on the morning of Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Eunice Manor at the age of 86. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 30, 2014, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Dustin Dought, Celebrant.
She played the organ for St. Lawrence Catholic Church and St. Agnes Chapel.
Survivors include five children; Carol C. Feucht and husband, Benny of Eunice, Randel Cooper of Lake Charles, Sharon C. Murphy and husband, Jim of Eunice, Kenneth Cooper and wife, Debbie of Ville Platte and Wendy Cooper of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; four brothers; Gerald and Donald Bollich both of Eunice, Lawrence Bollich of Mowata and Gregory Bollich of Eunice; five sisters; Clara Miller of Lafayette, Sylvia Lintzen of Eunice, Barbara LeJeune of Egan, Diane Elkins of Denver, Colo. and Judy Hollier of Lafayette; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Andrus; her parents, Frank and Barbara Zaunbrecher Bollich, Jr.; her husband, Louis Gaspard; her children’s father, Burnis Cooper; two brothers, Austin and Elmo Bollich and a sister, Elaine Turk.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s until time of services.

Carroll Duplechin died on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Opelousas General Health System. He was 71. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery in Lanse Meg with Deacon David Guillory officiating.
He was an oilfield worker.
Survivors include his son, John K. Duplechin and wife, Lisa of Eunice; two brothers, Dupre Duplechin, Jr. of Carencro and Riley Duplechin and wife, Cheryl of Rayne; three sisters, Hazel Guillory of Ville Platte, Betty Thibodeaux and husband, James of Basile and Linda McWhirter and husband, Winczel of Turkey Creek; two grandchildren, Amber Dupre and husband, Ben of Mamou and Brock Dupelchin of Eunice; and one great-grandson, Mason Dupre.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dupre and Martha Thomas Duplechin; infant son, Jason Duplechin; grandson, Lance Duplechin; brothers, Simon and Mentor Dupelchin; sister, Earline McMillen and his previous wife, Cathy Reed.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, June 30th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday, July 1st from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Monday evening.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alza Guillory and Agnes McCauley Guillory; one sister, Winnie Mae G. Lafleur; and one grandson, Rusty Aucoin.
The funeral home will open at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2014 for visitation until the time of Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m.
