Bobby J. Fruge died on Saturday, November 01, 2014 at the age of 57. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 04, 2014 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Guillory Cemetery in Chataignier with Father Sensat Celebrant.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked in the oilfield for 36 years.
Survivors include his wife, Angie Gravlin Fruge of Eunice; his children, Brandon Fruge and wife, Heather, Ashley Fruge Chaney of Youngsville, Jennifer Ryder and husband, Will of Eunice, Casey Fruge of Basile, Dusty and Tyler Fruge, both of Eunice; two step-children, Lynn McDaniel and husband, Donald of Farmington, Md. and Adam LaFleur and wife, Nikki of Mamou; two siblings, Mike Fruge and wife, Lil of Martin, Ga. and Tammy Fruge of Eunice; 19 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Vergie Veronie Fruge.
Vsitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, November 3rd from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Tuesday, November 4th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Monday evening.

Phillip Guidry died on Thursday, October 30, 2014, at the age of 51.
A Memorial Service will be held at North Eunice Baptist Church in Eunice on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 11 a.m.
Survivors include his fiancé, Mona Daugherty; one brother, Jerry Guidry and wife Kristi; one step-daughter, Lacey Leblanc; and three nephews, Jarett Guidry, Dale Guidry, and Darren Guidry.
Hep was preceded in death by his parents, Oran Guidry and Anita Veronie Bellard and one sister, Rebecca Ortego.

Audrey Lee Ledoux died on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at the age of 85.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Pastor Gene Sanders will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
Survivors include one son, Jerry Ledoux and wife Linda of Edgemont, Ark.; three daughters, Betty Ledoux of Alexandria; Judy Garmin of Ark. and Violet Bourque of Crowley; one step-daughter, Letha Cormier; one brother, Dalton Ledoux of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Beatrice Creighton of Sorrento and Margery Leblanc of Vidor, Texas; 12grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Ledoux and Lourina Vidrine Ledoux; one son, Richard Ledoux; and one brother, Roosevelt Ledoux.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday for visitation until the time of service.

Nolton J. Thibodeaux, Sr. died on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Oaklane Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in Eunice at the age of 84. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory officiating.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from oilfield work.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Lee B. Thibodeaux of Eunice; six sons, Patrick J. Thibodeaux and wife, Carla of Mamou, Warren G. Thibodeaux and companion, Patty Bertrand of Eunice, Kenneth J. Thibodeaux and companion, Amy Holcombe of Covington, Mark A. Thibodeaux and wife, Lisa Fontenot Thibodeaux of Eunice, Billy J. Thibodeaux and wife, Rhiannon of Eunice, and Nolton J. Thibodeaux, Jr. and companion, Janet Menier of New Orleans; two brothers, Elton J. Thibodeaux and wife, Pearl, and Newman Thibodeaux and wife, Jane Soileau Thibodeaux, all of Eunice; sister, Ella Mae Fontenot and husband, Horace of Eunice; 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Corrine Guidry Thibodeaux; brothers, Elzie, Effrey, Clinton, Vorace, and J.B. Thibodeaux; sister, Joyce Thibodeaux; and daughter in-law, Jennifer F. Thibodeaux.

Joseph Orvin LeJeune died on Monday, November 10, 2014 at his residence. He was 83. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Koran War. He was a superintendent with Sunland Construction, retiring after 26 years service.
Survivors include his wife Selina C. LeJeune; his three children, Steven LeJeune, Elaine L. Deville and Daniel LeJeune and his wife, Sheila all of Duralde; nine grandchildren, Nicole LeJeune and Toby, Kelly LeJeune and Wayne, Kirsten LeJeune-Brown and husband, Sam, Benjamin LeJeune, Joshua LeJeune and wife, Leila, Jordy LeJeune and wife Ashley, Denae’ Deville, Olivia L. Smith and husband, Blaine and Mackenzie LeJeune; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eulice and Virginia Fontenot LeJeune; a brother, Steven James LeJeune and a sister, Betty Budden.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, November 12th from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, November 13th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6 pm Wednesday.

Funeral services for Robert James Riddo, 57, will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Frank Brothers Funeral Home Chapel.
Riddo died on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 12:10 am at his residence in Eunice.
He was a member of Community Bible Fellowship Church.
Survivors include three sons: Robert Patton and Olandress Patton, both of Eunice, and Marco Chavis of Church Point; two daughters, Kira Patton and Julia Patton, both of Eunice; one sister, Mary Dickison of Tukwila, Wash.; and 8 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Jim and Julia Riddo.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey Duplechain of Eunice; three daughters, Debbie Pease and husband, Michael of Cleveland, Tenn., Sheila Prejean and husband, Mike of Spring, Texas, and Angie Molitor and husband, Mitch of Metairie; five grandchildren, Patrick Pease, Kathryn Goodner, Daniel Prejean, Lindsey and Andrew Molitor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Linda Fontenot Duplechain; two sisters, Isabelle Fontenot and Lou Ella Duplechain.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, November 13th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Friday, November 14th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6 pm Thursday by Deacon David Guillory.

Survivors include by her mother, Lois M. Francois of Eunice; her husband, Karl "Sparky" Bollich of Eunice; one son, Marc Rougeau of Eunice; one step-son, Blake Bollich of Eunice; two step-daughters, Kelly Vincent of Eunice and Shelly Guillory of Eunice; one brother, Duffy Francois of Eunice; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lilburn "LM" Francois and one brother, Robert Francois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oniel Guillory and Lury Rozas Guillory; her husband, Walter T. Czahajda; and one sister, Rose Lebleu.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014, at Quirk & Son FuneralHome from 8 a.m. until the time of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Al and Sis Frey; and grandson, Trent Dietz.
Visitation will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church on Friday, November 14th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Saturday, November 15th from 7:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7 pm Friday.

Vera 'Jerry' Salling

Vera Jeraldine “Jerry” Goleman Salling, 74, of Opelousas, died at her home on November 14, 2014.
She was a native of LeCompte, born to Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Goleman. She grew up in Eunice and lived many years in Lake Charles and Natchitoches. She was a member of P.E.O. Sorority in Natchitoches and a member of Busy Needles in Eunice.
Survivors include her husband, W. T. (Ted) Salling; her three children; Sabrina Salling of Opelousas, Bill Salling and wife, Kelly Horn Salling of Humble, Texas, Stuart Salling and wife, Stephanie Bourque Salling of Opelousas; her six grandchildren, Tyler Lofton, Josie Salling, Mason Salling, Kassie Salling, Katie Salling and Chase Salling; three siblings, Theresa Goleman Hargroder and husband, John Derral Hargroder, Bebo Goleman Redlich, widow of Dwaine Redlich, and Eugene (Okie) Goleman and wife, Priscilla Bertrand Goleman.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Della Messer Goleman and Clarence Edgar Goleman, and her sister, Rita Goleman Fontenot.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 2 pm to 7 pm and Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 10 am to 2 pm at Ardoin’s Funeral Home, 1301 W. Laurel, Eunice Louisiana. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial Service will immediately follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Hwy 190 West, Eunice.

Visitation for Clayborn A. “Bee’’ Perks 66, will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2015 from 8:00 am to 10:45 am with funeral services following, at 11:00 am, both at New Zion Baptist Church, 251 Nimitz, St., Eunice, LA. Pastor Allen W. Ben officiating.
He died on October 29, 2014 at 2:52 pm at Florida Hospital, in Tampa.
Clayborn was a native of Eunice and a resident of Land O Lakes, Fla.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of College Hill, where he was a member of the FBCCH Male Chorus and volunteered at Abe Brown Ministries.
He graduated from Charles Drew High School in Eunice, class of 1966. He attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA where he pledged Wine Psi Phi Fraternity. He was a U.S. Navy veteran
He married Ms. Beverly Lemelle Perks in 1969 and moved to Kingsville, TX where he was stationed. Through his experiences and skills acquired in the Navy, he saw a niche in the hospitality industry. He received his degree in Hotel Management from Lewis Hotel Management School in Washington, D.C.
When the Perks relocated to Houston, they were blessed with the birth of their son, André Clayborn. He then became a Missionary with the Shrine of The Black Madonna, Pan-African Orthodox Christian Church under Rev. Albert Clege, Jr.
Career opportunities for Mr. Perks brought the family to Atlanta, GA for a short period and then onto Tampa, FL. While in Tampa, FL he operated a limo business and Perks’ personalized Auto Detail Service.
After a few years, he retired and served as an Adjutant for the late Rev. Abraham Robert Brown of First Baptist Church of College Hill in Tampa. Rev. Brown became a father figure and one of his best friends. His Spirituality was further nurtured as Clay enjoyed attending the Bishop T.D. Jakes, “ManPower’’ conferences. Some of his hobbies included, listening to all genres of music, service to the under-privileged and elderly in the community and receiving the fresh “Rhema’’ word daily.
Everyone who knew Clay, knew he loved children and the elderly. His generous spirit was like a magnet which drew all to him.
Always the “life of the party’’, people gravitated towards him and he loved the sight of people being “tickled’’ and having fun! Thus he is and will be unforgettable in the hearts and minds of many friends from various walks of life.
Clayborn’s memories will be cherished by his loving wife of 45 years, Beverly Lemelle Perks of Land O’Lakes, FL; sons, André (Jill) Perks of Bend, Oregon, and Kearie Perks of Houston, TX; daughters, Ayanna Perks of Pensacola, FL, and Sha-Dana Boyd (Jason) of Houston, TX; brother, Melvin S. Greene III of Lansing, MI; 7 grandchildren: Aja Perks, Kai Perks, Justin Richards, Giovanni Perks and Sophia Perks, Rylin Boyd and Russell Boyd; father-in-law, Joseph E. Meche; special relatives, Anthony and LeDora Brown and children; and special mentor, Pastor Emeritus, Rev. Abraham Robert Brown, PhD; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Clayborn was preceded in death by his mother, Susie Clark Perks Green; his daddy, Rev. Melvin Greene; father, Rev. James Porter Perks; brother, James Alexander Perks; mother-in-law, Sadie M. Lemelle; and brother-in-law, Byron C. Lemelle.
Pallbearers will be Pride J. Doran, Jeremiah E. Bell, James A. Tate, Jay Anderson, Anthony Brown, and Michael Victorian.

Survivors include two sons, Nelson Thibodeaux and wife, Leona of Richmond, Texas and Horace Thibodeaux of Houston, Texas; four daughters, Audrey Duplechain of Eunice, Grace Deshotels of Crowley, Margaret Beck and husband, Richard of Athens, Ala. and Dolores Charlie and husband, Fred of Eunice; 19 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Thibodeaux; her parents, Frank and Lydia Guidry Picard; and son-in-law, Gene Duplechain.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s until time of services.
