John M. Langley, 80, of Basile, died Saturday, November 15, 2014 at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm Monday, Nov. 17 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Entombment will follow in the St. Augustine Mausoleum with Father David Hebert Celebrant.
He worked at Langley House Movers.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Raggio Langley; two daughters, Katherine (Kat) and husband, David Young of Soileau, Jeanette and husband, John Bergeron of Springfield; step-daughter, JoJuanna Sonnier Person of Basile; one son, Wendell Ray Langley of Longview, Texas; one sister, Susan Lyons of Eunice;11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugine Leger and Frank Langley; a brother, Henry Wayne Langley; a daughter, Peggy Sue Langley Miller and a son, John (Boo-T) Gregory Sonnier.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Basile until time of service.
Pallbearers are David Young, John Bergeron, Chris Lavergne, Chris “Beedo” Sonnier, Corie John Sonnier and Trent Lavergne. Honorary pallbearers, Katherine Langley Young, Jeanette Langley Bergeron and Wendell Ray Langley. We love you daddy, Kat, Jeanette and Wendell.

Myra Ashford Street died on Monday, November 17, 2014, at the age of 55.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Pastor Heather Ardoin will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
Survivors include her mother, Elta Boone; one son, Steven A. Street, Jr. of Eunice; two daughters, Christy S. Fontenot and husband Mike of Eunice and Stephanie Ann Street of Eunice; four sisters, Jessica Castille of Eunice, Sara Ashford of Eunice, Shon Prochaska of Washington, and Danielle Daigle of Kinder; four brothers, Mitchell Ashford of Turkey Creek, Ronnie Ashford of Eunice, Kevin Ashford of Mamou, and Travis Matt of Eunice; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie Ashford; her husband, Steven A. Street, Sr.; and one son, Brant T. Street.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014, at 10 a.m. and stay open all night until time of service at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2014.

Ison Fontenot died on the morning of Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the age of 79. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 3:00 pm on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Wayne Duet officiating.
He was a National Guard veteran. and owner and operator of Ison Fontenot Tin Shop for more than 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Dupre Fontenot of Eunice; his two sons, Ray Fontenot and wife, Becky and Dean Fontenot and wife, Bobbie, all of Eunice; his daughter, Lechia Lejeune and husband, Jonathan of Eunice; his two sisters, Emma Reed of Eunice and Rita Nash of Westlake.; eight grandchildren, Landy, Coby, Dusty, Loralie and Taylor “TK” Fontenot, Joshua, Jacob and Jori Lejeune; and six great grandchildren, Abbigail, Rylie, Emma, Tanner, Caroline and Jillian LeJeune.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clemence and Domathilda Soileau Fontenot; five brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, November 19th from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, November 20th from 7:00 am until time of services. Deacon Jim Cormier will recite a Rosary at 6:30 pm Wednesday.

Earlward Young died on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at the age of 88.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at 11 AM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Pastor Gary Mitchell will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
Survivors include two sons, Earl "Keith" Young and wife Lisa of Gulfport, Miss. and Brent Neil Young and fiancé Donna of Eunice; one daughter, Darlene Y. Lavengco and husband Gene of Lake Charles; one brother, Roger Young and wife Nettie of Eunice; two sisters, Ann Lynn Morris of Eunice and Annetta Courtney of La Marque, Texas; five grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah Young and Effie Smith Young; his wife, Lovinie James Young; two brothers, James Young and Burleigh Young; and one sister, Isabelle Fontenot.

Debra Ryder Richard died on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at the age of 53.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at Quirk & Son Funeral Home at 1 PM. Msg. Robert Romero will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, James Richard of Eunice; one son, Jonathan A. Richard of Eunice; one daughter, Kim Richard of Eunice; and three grandchildren, London Clark, Collen Hidalgo, and Kelsey Richard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie J. Ryder and Agnes Pitre Ryder; three brothers, Patrick Ryder, Herlin Ryder, and Terry Ryder; and one sister, Dorothy Pitre.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014, from 9 AM to 10 PM.

Dr. Howard H. Hargroder died on Monday, November 24, 2014, at the age of 81.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 28, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Msg. Robert Romero will officiate. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Mausoleum.
Hargroder graduated from Church Point High School and the University of Southwestern Louisiana. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. He served the Eunice area as a veterinarian for many years. After closing his private practice, he continued working with the USDA.
Survivors include three sons, Howard Hargroder and wife Phyllis of Eunice, Scotty Hargroder and wife Diana of Beaumont, Texas, and Duane Hargroder of Church Point; three daughters, Patti Miller and husband Darryl of Church
Point, Kelli Hargroder and Rick Predmore of Baton Rouge, and Colleen Brooks and husband Ken of Mt. Juliet, Tenn; one brother, Earl Hargrode,r Jr. of Crowley; one sister, Irma Lee Gremillion of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; 20 grandchildren; 34great-grandchildren; and numerous of great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Hargroder, Sr. and Irma Cannon Hargroder; his wife, Carole "Sue" LaFosse Hargroder; one daughter, Deborah Sue Hargroder; one great-granddaughter, Skylar Aguillard; one brother, Dr. Joe Hargroder.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Quirk & Son. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon Gary Gaudin at 6 p.m. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday,

Iris Aguillard died on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at the age of 81.
Survivors include by one son, Ray Allen Aguillard, one daughter, Charlotte Witkovski and husband Bobby of Eunice, four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Prudhomme and Orphise Janise Prudhomme and her husband, Chester Aguillard.
Burial was held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at 2 p.m.
Quirk & Son Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 28, 2014 at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic church for Carolyn Aguillard Sittig, 79, who died at her residence in Crowley.
Fr. Mark Miley and Fr. Henry Broussard will concelebrate the Mass. The family request visitation be observed on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Thursday. The burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Eunice, LA.
She was a native of Eunice, LA. She was a longtime member of Saint Michael Catholic Church. She was a member of the Ladies Rosary
Survivors include her husband, Lee Sittig; her daughter Vivian Colvill and her husband Chip of Houston, TX; two sons Greg Sittig and his wife Marcey of Salt Lake City, UT and Kevin Sittig and his wife Terri of Shreveport, LA; 1 brother Charles Aguillard of Eunice, LA; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Jeanette Aguillard and a sister Jeanne Lebleu.
Arrangements are by Geesey-Ferguson.

She was preceded in death by her parents Doza Lafleur and Emily Brown Lafleur; her husband, Clarence Bellard; one son, Ronnie Bellard; three brothers, Dewey, Raymond, and Frankie Lafleur; one sister, Dora Belle Lafleur.

She was a Pink Lady for many years and a member of the Ladies Altar Society and served in the Catholic Daughters of America.
Survivors include three children, Robert Lee Corbello and wife, Anne of Iowa, Mary C. Hebert and Ann C. Amiot and husband, David, all of Eunice; a sister to a brother, Edward Miller and wife, Dorothy of Ragley; two sisters, Lucy Foreman and husband, Calvin of Iowa, and Agnes Bertrand of Westlake; seven grandchildren, Olivia C. Tichavsky, Stephen Corbello, Tammie H. Hauptman, Tiffanie H. Hart, Katie L. Hebert, Lauren N. and Amy T. Amiot; five great-grandchildren, Hannah, Lillie, Audie, and Sophie Hauptman and Victoria Rose Hart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Dora Thibodeaux Miller; her husband, LeRoy Corbello; two brothers, Allen and Hansel Miller; two sisters, Ruby Arnold and Lena Sittig.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s in Eunice on Friday, November 28th from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Saturday, November 29th from 8:00 am until time of services. Catholic Daughters will recite a Rosary at 5:30 pm Friday.

John L. Guillory died on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at the age of 75. A Mass of Christian will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014, at 11:00 AM at St. Mathilda Catholic Church. Father Darren Eldridge will officiate.
