Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
CJ is survived by his wife, Cheryl McDaniel Israel of Eunice; four sons, Acel McDaniel of Eunice, Jacob Israel of Eunice, Matthew Israel of Maine, and Michael Israel of Eunice; three sisters,
Sandra Ryder of Baton Rouge, Linda Fontenot of Mamou, and Susan Rafferty of Pass Christian, MS; and six grandchildren.
CJ was preceded in death by his parents, Clienus Israel, Sr. and Julie Darbonne Marcantel; one brother, James Israel; and one brother-in-law, Lionel Fontenot.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Gary Gaudin. The funeral home will
reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday for visitation until the time of service.

Eunice~ A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Kathy will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Kathy passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 63. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am in Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to family and friends and enjoyed helping others. Justin, a native of Eunice, settled here with his wife, Amy Bonin Christ of Monroe, LA and their two beautiful children, Eva Kay Christ, age 6 and Jackson Keith Christ, age 4. Justin was a kind, loving, and patient father and his children were the joys of his life. He had a tremendous love for music and dancing which he happily passed on to both of his children. Justin also had a passion for cooking, and loved to treat his family with one of his many delicious meals.
Along with his wife and children, Justin is survived by his loving parents, Ronald and Beth Christ of Eunice; his brother, Rusty Christ and wife, Layna of Lafayette and their children, Caroline, Maria and John Benson Christ; as well as extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harold and Dolores Christ and maternal grandmother, Nancy Sylvester.

He was affiliated with Greater Golden Light Baptist Church. He was a jack of all trades. “Chest’’ enjoyed fishing, mechanical work, family gatherings and mostly playing with his dog Chico’’.

VILLE PLATTE- Clinton Joseph Guillory, also known as ''Clint West'', passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at St. Landry Extended Care Hospital in Opelousas. Born in Ville Platte on August 11, 1938, Clinton was 77 at his time of passing.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 in the Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte Chapel at 5:15 PM. Visitation will also be held that same day from 9 AM until time of services with a rosary being recited at 5 PM.
Clinton was a swamp pop legend, singing and playing drums for 6 decades. He was a multiple inductee into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, both as a solo artist and as a member of the Boogie Kings. He loved being with his family, the fellowship of good friends, music, being outdoors, cooking and the Louisiana lifestyle. He will be greatly missed by his many friends, family and fans. The King of Boogie is bringing some soul to Heaven's orchestra.

He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his mother, Bursie Savoy and step- father, John Savoy of Basile; his two brothers, Douglas Ardoin and companion, Cynthia Sittig of Duralde and Lester Ardoin and wife, Mary of Woodlawn; niece and nephew, Tarra and Landen Ardoin; as well as extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Pam Ardoin; his father, Rodney Paul Ardoin.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Basile on Thursday, July 7th from 8:30 am until 2:00pm. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am Thursday.
