Arnette Tyson Sensenbrenner Reese

EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Arnette Tyson Sensenbrenner Reese announces her passing on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Passages Hospice in New Orleans at the age of 84. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 30, 2015 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Interment will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Father Travis Abadie, Celebrant.
Arnette enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, camping, and her Cajun heritage. She was a Registered Nurse all of her life and was devoted to St. Edmund as a student, alumni and parent. Although she lived in New Orleans the past nine years, Eunice was always her home. Arnette will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her five children, three sons, Edward Paige Sensenbrenner and wife, Madeleine of New Orleans, William G. Reese, III and wife, Michelle of Crestwood, KY, and Robert B. Reese, II and wife, Donna of Starkville, MS; two daughters, Stephany Reese McLaughlin and husband, Thomas of Hammond and Devonne Reese Lasavia and husband, Stephen of Metairie; thirteen grandchildren, Erin McLaughlin, Sean McLaughlin, Robyn McLaughlin Bagot, Caitlin Reese Thorn, Sarah Reese Bishop, Drew Reese, Hayley Reese Chow, Bryan Reese, Brandon Reese, Erica, Hannah, Alexandra and Olivia Sensenbrenner; and nine great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Henreitta Bordelon Tyson.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, January 29th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and again on Saturday, January 30th from 8:00am until services. Dale and Herman Francois will recite a Rosary at 7:30 pm Friday evening.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Edmund Catholic School, 230 North 3rd Street, Eunice, LA 70535.

EUNICE~Our hearts are heavy as we have lost a very loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, Gene Miller at the age of 66. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Thomas More Cemetery with Father Austin Leger Celebrant.
Gene was lovingly known as ''Pop'' to his grandchildren and everyone who knew him. He will always be remembered for his kind, generous heart, his love of family and friends, and his helpful nature. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his loving wife of 46 years, Susan Caswell Miller of Eunice; his two loving children, his son, Mitch Miller and wife, Jolayne of Porter, TX and his daughter, Melissa Miller of Eunice; his sister, Kathy Tucker and husband, Larry of New Iberia. The joys of his life his four grandsons, Bryce Francois, Justin Rosenberg and fiancé' Haizell Armendariz, Gharret Miller and wife, Karissa and Connor Atchison; two great grandchildren, Gene Israel Rosenberg and Avie Rose Francois; his niece and godchild, Heather Miller; niece, Seri Frioux; nephew, Tyler Miller; great niece, Raegan Frioux; great nephew, Ryken Miller; as well as extended family and friends. ''The most painful goodbyes are the ones that are never said and never explained.''
He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard Joseph and Agnes Miller and his brother, Bobby Joseph Miller.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, January 27th from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Thursday, January 28th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.

EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Marlene Fontenot announces her passing on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Eunice Manor at the age of 81. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice.
Marlene was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her especially her three sons, Dalbert R. Fontenot. Jr. of Basile, David Fontenot and wife, Donna of Boyce and Dennis Fontenot and wife, Nikki of Sulphur; two daughters, Deborah Fontenot Brooks and husband, Ron of Youngsville and Donna Millan and husband, Van of Ventura, California. The joys of her life her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who called her ''Grammy.''
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dalbert R. Fontenot, Sr.; parents, John Jesse and Gladys Marie Lyons Berg; her daughter-in-law, Cathy Fontenot and her brothers, Willard and Jack Berg.

EUNICE ~ Harvey Dale James Fontenot passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015, at age 64.
Harvey is survived by his mother, Rose Bergeron Rozas and step-dad Albert of Eunice; three daughters: Denise F. Ortego and husband Chad of Carencro, Penni Fontenot of Lafayette, and Sarah Lafleur and husband Moise of Eunice; three sons: Troy Fontenot and wife Lisa of Lafayette, Casey Fontenot of Slidell, and Eric Scott Fontenot of Lafayette; three sisters: Deborah Oliver of Eunice, Charmane Richard of Eunice and Connie Guidry of Lewisburg; two brothers: Patrick Fontenot of Iota and Marcus Fontenot of Sunset; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
Harvey was preceded in death by his father, Dewey Fontenot.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm at St. Thomas More Church in Eunice. Deacon David Guillory will officiate.

EUNICE~Our hearts are heavy as we have lost a very loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Sylvia Bergeron Veillon on Thursday, January 28, 2016 with loving family by her side. She was 81. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
Sylvia was a dedicated parishioner of the St. Anthony Catholic Church. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters for many years, loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her two daughters, Lynne V. Hatler and husband, Johnny and Gwynne V. Doucet and husband, Terry all of Eunice; her sister, Jackie Bergeron Smith of Orange, TX; the six joys of her life, her grandchildren, Ryan Hatler and wife, Susan, Nicholas, Brooke and Ethan Hatler, Penny Doucet Garcia and husband, Erick and Blake Doucet; and five great grandchildren and one on the way.
She is preceded in death by her husband, I.B. Veillon; her parents, C.S. and Beatrice Rougeau Bergeron; two brothers, Lylon and Bobby Bergeron.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Saturday, January 30thfrom 12:30 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Sunday, January 31st from 9:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm on Saturday evening with The Catholic Daughters in attendance.

EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joyce Guillory Powell announces her passing in the comfort of her home on the morning of Friday, January 29, 2016 at the age of 75. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Pastor David Plunkett officiating.
Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her. Her greatest joy in life was her family especially her husband of fifty six years, Burton Powell, Sr. of Eunice; her son, J.B. ''Jay'' Powell, Jr. and wife, Jody of Eunice; her two daughters, Kayla Marie Young of Gonzales and Lauri Marie Vasseur and husband, David of Waller, TX; her brother, Johnny Pommier and wife, Betty of Prairie Ronde; her sister, Bernice Siebert of Mamou; and the greatest joys of her life her four grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Yourick and Omerice Fontenot Guillory; several brothers and sisters and her son-in-law, Jody Young.

Nolton Martin "Poncho" Anderson

EUNICE-Funeral services for Mr. Nolton Martin “Poncho” Anderson, 82, will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Mathilda Catholic Church with the visitation observed from 9:00 am until time of service in Bishop Ceasar Hall. Burial will follow in the St. Mathilda Catholic Church Cemetery. Father Darren Eldridge will conduct the funeral mass.
Mr. Anderson served as an officer of the Eunice Police Department from 1966 to 1974. Because of his constant awareness of the needs of the people of Eunice, Mr. Anderson felt compelled to run for city councilman. In 1993, he was elected as City Councilman of Ward #2 and successfully completed three terms.
On Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Oak Lane Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in Eunice, LA, time drew back the curtain and brought to a close, the end of day for our beloved “Poncho”.
To share warm and fond memories of his earthly life will be his devoted niece and caretaker Cynthia Ann (Clayton) Doucet of Inkster, MI; two sisters-in-law: Gladys L. Blount and Dorothy L. Gallow both of Eunice, LA; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his wife: Bernadine L. Anderson and his nephew that he reared as his own, Michael Leavings.

Herman Woods, Sr., age 71, passed away at 6:14 am on January 22, 2016 at Acadia Medical Center in Eunice, LA.
Mr. Herman was affiliated with the New Direction Baptist Church in Lawtell, LA.
Mr. Herman worked in the Concrete Construction Industry for over 35 years. He enjoyed dancing and just being outside.
Survivors include his spouse: Rose Lena Woods of Sunset; three sons: Herman Woods, Jr., Kerry Malveaux, and Otis Woods, all of Eunice, LA; one daughter, Melba Woods of Sunset, LA; three brothers: Clifton Woods of Houston, TX, Gaston Woods, Jr., of Eunice, LA, and Joseph Woods of New Orleans, LA; two sisters: Mary Ann Espree and Angela Cesar, both of Opelousas, LA; Very special friend, Gennita Malveaux of Eunice, LA; and 17 grandchildren.
Mr. Herman was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one daughter.
Pallbearers will be: Otis Woods, Herman Woods, Jr., Jimmy Alfred, Gaston Woods, Jr., Thaddeus Woods, and Quincey Woods.

EUNICE~Our hearts are heavy as we announce the sudden passing of our loving father, brother, grandfather and friend, Willis Thomas David, on Monday, February 01, 2016 at the age of 75. Burial will follow in the Ashford Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory officiating.
Willie was retired from the Evangeline Parish Policy Jury. He worked from sun up to sun down. He loved spending time crawfishing, gardening, squirrel hunting, raising ducks and he loved to go to the Liberty every Saturday. But most of all he loved spending time with his children and cooking for them every Sunday. He will be greatly missed by everyone he touched. Heaven's gain is our loss. Willis leaves behind his four children; Theresa David Regan and husband, Greg of Egan, Tommy David of Duralde, Carolyn David Bihm and husband, Michael of Duralde and Amy David Fuselier and Todd of Eunice; a brother, Willie John David and wife, Wilda of Duralde; a sister, Mary Lou David Bertrand of Eunice; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mercedes Fontenot David; his parents, Plenny and Virginia Manuel David; and his sister, Mary Louise David Veillon.

CHURCH POINT ~ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Guidry Funeral Home for Eva Mae Viga, 88, who passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 9:30 am at Acadia-St. Landry Guest Home.
Deacon Byrne Winn will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in St. Edward Cemetery in Richard.
Eva, a resident of Church Point, LA was the daughter of the late Felix Jeanise and the former Marie Celeste Boulet.
She is survived by two daughters Brenda Thibodeaux of Eunice, LA and Angela McFarland and husband Andy of Church Point, LA; two sons, Allen Daigle and wife Rose Marie of Eunice, LA and Gary Daigle and wife Barbara of Church Point, LA; ten grandchildren, Rachael Daigle, Elisa Vige, T.J. Clavier, Celeste Thibodeaux, Shawn Daigle, Christy Romero, Ben Smith, Brennan Touchet, Guy McFarland and Meagan McFarland; 17 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Valrie Viga, Jr. and a son in law, Jimmy Ray Thibodeaux.
Eva was a loving person. She was a loving caregiver to any and everyone that she was around, especially for her family. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all of her friends and family.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on, Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and continue on Friday from 8:00 am until the time of service. A rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 pm in the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Gary Daigle, Shawn Daigle, Andy McFarland, Connor Daigle, Ben Smith and Dillard Duplechin. Honorary pallbearers will be Allen Daigle and Brennan Touchet.

Mims, known to many as ''Jake'' proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. After retiring from the oilfield, Jake worked in the family business, Turner's Conoco and he enjoyed his customers. He loved fishing and spending his free time with his family, especially his grandkids. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his four children, Ricky W. Turner of Houston, TX, Kenneth L. Turner, Brenda T. Venable, and Randy Turner and wife, Mindy all of Eunice; his companion, Marcia Mott; his nine grandchildren, Aimee Hebert, Brett Venable, Trey Turner, Seth Turner, Stuart Turner, Wesley Turner, Emily Turner, Patricia Turner and Christina Turner; his three great-grandkids, Ella Hebert, Annabelle and Adalynn Turner; as well as extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lula Mae Sadowski Turner; his son, Michael Lynn Turner; and his parents, Clarence and Mary Mims Turner.

IOTA~ Our hearts are heavy as we have lost a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, Clinton R. Wallace in the comfort of his home with loving family by his side. He was 87. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, February 05, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Iota. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery with son-in-law, Dwayne Dietz officiating.
Clinton was a man who loved spending time with his family and enjoyed his grandkids. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his loving wife of 68 years, Joyce C. Wallace of Iota; his six children, Rayford Wallace and wife, Thas and Robert Wallace and wife, Marcha all of Evangeline, Cecil Wallace and wife, Rosa Gale of Poteet, TX, Paul Wallace and wife, Sue of Iota, Connie Schexnayder and husband, Pat of Egan and Karen Dietz and husband, Kevin Dwayne of Iota. He was blessed with sixteen grandchildren, thirty five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Reaf and Ruby Adams Wallace; six siblings and one great grandchild.
Carrying Clinton to his resting place are his six grandsons, Cecil Wallace, Jr., Clinton Reif Wallace, Toby Wallace, Barrett Schexnayder, Trevor and Kason Dietz.
The family would like to thank Dr. Brian Wilder, Joan Douget and La Hospice & Palliative Care for the compassionate care. A very special thanks is expressed to Riley and Juley Perry, Glenn and Nancy Pousson for all the years of love and support.

Edward H. Lowe

Edward Harry Lowe, of Mowata, Louisiana went home to be with his Savior on Thursday, February 4, 2016. He was 72 years old. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 9:00pm Saturday, February 6, at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice. On Sunday, February 7 at Mowata Baptist Church, there will be an additional visitation from 1:00-3:00 followed by the Funeral services at 3:00pm. Burial will follow at the Mowata Baptist Church Cemetery.
Ed was born on July 13,1943, in Buffalo, New York to the late Edna Ernestine Blackwell Lowe and William Edward Lowe. While attending Tennessee Temple University, he met the love of his life, Elizabeth. The two were married in 1964 and spent most of their fifty-one years together in Mowata, surrounded by their three daughters and their families.
Above all else, Ed is remembered for his love for the Lord and his love for his family. Ed was the father we were proud to call our dad and the grandfather we couldn't wait to spend time with. His strong, steadfast faith in Jesus Christ was foundational to his own life and to the family that he cherished. He will be remembered for years of service to his church family, extraordinary friendship, contagious humor, amazing generosity, and dedicated Christian witness to his family.
Ed was preceded in death by two sisters, Beverly Torbett and Mary Krantz. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, daughter and son-in-law June and Dwayne Zaunbrecher, daughter and son-in-law Kim and Clay Armstrong, and daughter and son-in-law Kara and Cullen Clark, all of Mowata. He is also survived by his grandchildren Michael, Nicholas and Kathryn Zaunbrecher; Aubrey, Cassidy, and Riley Armstrong; Elizabeth and William Clark. He is also survived by his sister Lorraine Rarick and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to all the doctors, especially Dr. Randy Miller and Dr. Joseph Brierre, who did not treat Ed as just another patient, as well as the nurses and staff of Louisiana Health Care for the care and dignity with which they served our family. We are especially grateful for our church families at Mowata Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Crowley who have been faithful to pray and care for our family during these times.

EUNICE ~ Visitation for Martha Marie Guillory will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am with funeral services following at 11:00 am, both at New Zion Baptist Church, Eunice, LA with interment following at Mount Olive Cemetery in Eunice with Rev. Allen W. Ben officiating.
Martha, age 60, passed away January 26, 2016 at 1:40 pm at Lafayette General Hospital.
Martha enjoyed eating out, visiting with friends and family. She also enjoyed attending church, traveling and shopping.
Survivors include: her spouse, Daniel Guillory of Eunice; two sons, Kevin Allison, Jr. of Breaux Bridge, LA, and Nathaniel Semien of Lake Charles, LA; four daughters: Marissa Guillory and Tryinessia Perrodin, both of Eunice, LA, Priscilla Fuselier and Katrell Fuselier, both of Lake Charles, LA; two brothers, Yourick Allison, Jr. of Marksville, LA, and Micheal Allison, Sr. of Arkansas; two sisters, Orenia Doucet of Ville Platte, LA and Regina Vallier of Eunice, LA; 17 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. & Mrs. Yourick Allison, Sr., one sister Oriela Gallow, and one brother Dale Allison, Sr.
Pallbearers will be: Gregory Fuselier, Larry Mason, Bruce Guillory, Jr., Jermiah Fuselier, Dennis LaRue and Durel Gobert.

Dr. Charles Carroll Faust III

Dr. Charles Carroll Faust III passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016 in Johnson City, TN at the age of 91. He was born and raised in Lake Charles, LA, the son of Charles C. Jr. and Lucy Faust.
He left Lake Charles Senior High School when he turned 18 in 1943 and entered the Army Air Corp. He was a B-29 pilot during the war, flying missions over Japan out of Okinawa and Iwo Jima.
After the war, he remained in the Air Force Reserves and retired after achieving the rank of Lt. Colonel. Dr. Faust went to McNeese College in Lake Charles and later finished his B.S. degree in Education and minor in voice, and M.S. in Biology from LSU.
He began teaching math and science and coaching basketball and football at DeQuincy High School in Louisiana and also taught and coached in Morrow and Bunkie High Schools. He eventually returned to school to finish his PhD in Genetics and teaching at LSU as a graduate assistant.
He then began teaching full time at the newly built LSU-Eunice. He finished his career at LSU-E teaching biology, anatomy, and genetics for over 20 years. After retiring from the LSU system, he ran a chemical business in Eunice, and eventually returned to his first love, teaching at St. Edmund’s High School and Louisiana College. Dr. Faust also blessed many with his voice performing at weddings, plays, in numerous choirs, and as a choir director at several churches.
Dr. Faust was married for over 65 years to Elizabeth Stark Faust, his college sweetheart. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and two sisters, Hazel and Mildred.
He is survived by his daughter, Candace and her husband Steven Saucier of Eunice, LA; and his son, Charles C. Faust IV and his wife Melody of Johnson City, TN. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Dee McNutt and her husband Price; Brittany Wayman and her husband Bobby; Andre Hyde and his wife Heidi; Michelle Saucier; Chuck Faust and his wife Angela; Hans Faust and his wife Sara; and Heidi Faust. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, as well as one sister in law and many nephews and nieces.
Dr. Faust and his wife Elizabeth will be interred in DeRidder, LA after a memorial service for him on March 5, 2016, at the First Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA.

EUNICE ~ Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice for Shirley Fontenot Hebert, age 73, who died at home on January 28, 2016.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Grady Hebert (Hub), of Evangeline; two daughters, Angie Dousey, and Caley Stephen; two sons, Jude Hebert, and Kevin Hebert; 2 grandchildren, Darius Dousey and Stormy Gail Hebert; three brothers: McDonald Fontenot, Steve Fontenot, Jr., and Ronald Fontenot; two sisters, Mary Godeaux, and Josephine Kirbis.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Steve N. Fontenot, Sr. and Gertis LeJeune.

EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lloyd P. Leonards, Sr. announces his passing on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the Lafayette General Medical Center at the age of 80. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, February 12, 2016 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Lawrence Mausoleum with Father Sensat Celebrant and Father Joseph Tran Con-celebrant.
Lloyd enjoyed playing cards and loved sports, especially LSU and the Eunice High Bobcats. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his wife of 59 years, Connie L. Leonards of Mowata; his son, Phil Leonards and wife, Shelia of Mowata; his three daughters, Denise L. LeBouef and husband, Bernard, Kimberly L. Gaspard and husband, Kenneth, and Yvette L. Ortego and husband, Dirk, all of Eunice; one sister, Patricia L. Johnson and husband, Adam of Eunice; twelve grandchildren, Cherice L. Teets, Dr. Ryan Leonards, Heath Leonards, Jared LeBouef, Kaitlyn LeBouef, Jami LeBouef, Eric Gaspard, Christopher Gaspard, Allison Ariza, Taylor Gaspard, Jonathon Ortego, and Richlyn Ortego; and nine great grandchildren, Alexis Teets, Kayla Teets, Gracie Gaspard, Jax Gaspard, Alaiyah Ariza, Abel Ariza, Chance Ortego, Brooklyn Ortego, and Austin Ortego.
He is preceded in death by his parents, August Leonards, Sr. and Dorothy Frey Leonards; brother, August Leonards, Jr.; and sisters, Antoinette Miller and Alberta Bergeron.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, February 11th from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Friday, February 12th from 8:00 am until 10:30 am. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary 6:00 pm Thursday evening.

BASILE-Our hearts are heavy as we have lost a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend, J.B. LeBlue at the Basile Care Center at the age of 82. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel of Basile. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery in Tee-Mamou with Deacon Robert Leger officiating.
J.B. will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his six sons, Ronald LeBlue of Basile, J.B. Paul LeBlue, Jr. and wife, Cassie of Basile, Donald LeBlue of Elton, Kenneth LeBlue and wife Tonya of Basile, Robert LeBlue of Elton, and Terry LeBlue and wife, Darla of Lake Charles; his sister, Lena Matthews of Elton; twenty four grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, many great-great grandchildren, and one great-great-great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Laura Credeur LeBlue; brother, Paul LeBlue; sisters, Jane Matt and Julia Bertrand; grandson, Michael LeBlue; and a great granddaughter, Annabella LeBlue.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Basile on Saturday, February 13th from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Sunday, February 14th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Robert Leger will recite a rosary at 2:00 pm on Saturday afternoon.

Amy Menier, age 31, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016.
Visitation will begin on Sunday at 10 AN until 10 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 6 PM by Deacon Gary Gaudin.
The service will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016, at 11 AM. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate.
Burial; will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Amy is survived by her mother, Carla Luquette and her husband Harold Marks of Sunset; her father Tony Menier, Sr. of Oberlin ;
two sons, Derrick Robinson of Eunice and Bryson Menier of Basile; three daughters, Masie Cole of Kinder, Brittany Hubbard of Sunset and Haley Luquette of Sunset;
two brothers, Calvin A. Menier, Jr of Sunset and Toby G. Menier of Oberlin; two sisters, Kimberly Fontenot of Basile and Madison Easton of Church Point.
Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Wilda Richard Ardoin, 84, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016
.Visitation for Mrs. Wilda will begin on Monday at 1:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed on Monday evening at 7:30 by Deacon Jim Cormier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 16 , at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at 1:00 PM.
Fr. Travis Abadie will officiate. Burial will be at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in Basile.
Wilda is survived by her son Tim Ardoin and his wife Sandra of Eunice; two granddaughters, Amy Myers and her husband David of Eunice and Amanda McGee and her husband Shaine of Eunice;
one grandson, David Ardoin and his wife Shelli of Eunice; great grandchildren: Caitlyn Estes and husband Daniel; Noah and Emma Myers, Victoria , Joshua, Kaleb and Matthew McGee.
